THE POWER OF WATER

If you have read my first document you will know that you have a powerful partner called Water, and today I’m going to tell you about me again. Specially, I’ll tell you about my power and I’ll give you some examples of the power of water.

There are some places in the earth in which you nearly can contemplate all manifestations of water. Slowly those special places disappear but you are still lucky because you can enjoy with some places like this. One of these places is situated in t in western North America and the name is the Rocky Mountains

The Rocky Mountains are a mountain range which stretch more than 4,800 kilometers from Nuevo Mexico in United States since British Colombia in Canada. There are famous natural parks in the Rocky Mountains: Yellowstone, Jasper, Banff, Yoho or Kootenay.

Water in their different forms is represented in the Rocky Mountains. Big and noisy waterfalls, infinite lakes like Lake Medicine, incredible thermal lakes as Lake Louse or lakes with sky blue water like Lake Moraine.

Crossing the Rocky Mountains you’ll find furious rivers like Kicking Horse formed with glacial water, and fields of icebergs like Columbia Icefield. The mountains have form of ice castles and their enigmatic rainforest where you can notice how always is raining.

My friends, Rockies are heaven on earth. Water, me, is the main star in this marvellous place, but water is the Creator too, because the power of water changes continually the spots. I strongly recommend you visiting the Rocky Mountains, a kingdom in this world where the nature governs making her own rules and where natural cycles still exist.

Las Marquesas: The Islands of Tattoos

Las Marquesas are a group of Polynesian’s Islands which depends of Tahiti. Times ago, this archipelago was known like “The “Queen of tattoos” and mariners liked make tattoos in these islands.

The tradition of making tattoos is a sign of the identity for the people from Las Marquesas. They believe, tattoos make people more honourable. In fact, anciently men had heir body completely tattooed. Tattoos were a sing of power and social position and the mainly motives of tattoos were tribal tattoos, animals like turtles or antics soldiers.

Generally, people from Las Marquesas prefer black and white tattoos like their traditional tattoos. Most of then have more than one tattoo, in fact they add tattoos in their body for different reasons like superstition or because they are looking for their own identity but, curiously, today most of then don’t know what they mean.

Nowadays, tattoo is also a tourist reclaiming. In front of people from Las Marquesas, tourists prefer colours tattoos. They look for original draws and noticeable tattoos and, evidently, economic tattoos.

This year is an unusual year for all of us, but especially for you because you have the most incredible partner that you could imagine. My name is WATER.

How can I describe me? All of you know me very well.

Mainly, I am a chemical substance, essential for all form of life, even your life , and as you know, I have different states. The most typical form I have is liquid form, but I can have solid or ice form too. In our classroom you can’t recognize me because usually I will take a gaseous form, but if you pay attention, sometimes you will see a cloud over your heads. It will mean that I am a little nervous and if sometimes rains in the classroom, don’t worry, because it will mean that I am very happy and this day I will have a good sense of humour. So I hope that you never are, “Waiting on a sunny day” like the Springsteen’s song says.

Only when our teacher decides that I must take an human form you will know who I really I am. Then, I will look like an ice person in the extern form, but inside I have more humans aspects than you can think.

For the moment that’s all I can tell you , but if you want to know something else about me , you only have to say it, because I can do a lot of mysterious things ( condensation, precipitation etc) and I can tell you incredible stories about me.

That’s the way I am! You are a lucky partner because I am WATER. And you also can be water.
